On February 13, we held our annual awards and state-of-the-company market address at the Smith Center in Downtown Las Vegas. About 200 people attended the event that recognized the success, production, and tenure from the previous year.
The most prestigious award given is named for Marilyn Squitieri, a retired Coldwell Banker sales associate who was a leader in the real estate community from 1983 to 1996. Each year before the awards banquet, Tammy Pitts, senior vice president of operations, meets with Marilyn so she can record a special message and words and words of wisdom for our agents and leadership team. Watch our slide show below to hear her powerful message.
This year’s recipient was Tina Mello, who consistently demonstrates high standards of service, productivity, and leadership. Tina has been guiding Las Vegas families home since 2005.
Also in attendance was Ryan Gorman, the new President and CEO of Coldwell Banker. Ryan presented his goals for Coldwell Banker and the importance of inclusion and representation for all. It was a true honor, and we know he will continue to elevate us all. You can read more on Ryan’s initiative to increase diversity and representation in brokerage ownership here.

CBPR: What did
you do differently in 2019 that led to your CGI growth this year?
Jill: “Since starting with CB in 2001, I have always farmed a neighborhood, but when I would get busy, I would unintentionally let months go by with contacting those residents. This year, I joined CBPR’s Own the Hood program which is managed by the marketing department. Not only do they create postcards with interesting content, but they ensure my cards are mailed at the same time month after month. This consistency keeps me top-of-mind as the neighborhood expert.
Through the Own the Hood program, I have successfully taken four listings over $700,000 on one street, and I currently have two properties over $1.2 Million in the same neighborhood. This program has paid off. “

This dynamic individual, licensed in Nevada since 2013, joins us with 17 years of experience in the Las Vegas mortgage industry. No stranger to leadership, Sheri has also served as a real estate coach with the Mike Ferry Organization and as a trainer, coach, sales manager, and recruiter for local real estate individuals and teams.
Hills Branch Manager Roles
As Branch Manager, Sheri will play a vital role in the training, mentoring, retention and success of our Centennial Hills sales associates. With her problem-solving skills and experience, Sheri’s key goals are to help agents overcome any obstacles in order to take their business to the next level, whether new or experienced. We have no doubt Sheri will shine in this role, and we can’t wait to see everything she brings to the table.
recently sat down with Sheri to discuss this next step in her career, and when
asked WHY she chose CBPR she had this to say:
“In order to be truly successful you have to love your job and where you work. Over the years, I have worked with some amazing leaders and also with people whose values were not parallel with my own. From the moment I met with Bob and Molly and saw their genuine nature firsthand, I knew this was the company I was meant to be at. Your vibe really does attract your tribe, and I am thrilled that I found mine with Coldwell Banker Premier Realty.”
Sheri steps in as Branch Manager for Chris Bishop, who served as an integral member of the CBPR Leadership Team for over six years. Chris, the 2018 GLVAR President, has decided to pursue real estate sales full-time as a Coldwell Banker Sales Associate while he focuses on his impeding NVAR 2020 presidency.
